cs:s guns in HL2. has it been done, if not, why not.

I haven't been a part of a half life 2 community since its release, so if this is a dumb question and I'm a big noob, I'd still like a few replies. Why isn't it possible, through intermediate or beginner-level coding, to add the weapons from counter strike source into the half life two game? Combine soldiers running around with ak47's doesn't sound so bad, does it? I had thought this was a good idea and it would catch on with someone in the community, but a year plus after the release and I haven't heard anyone else talk about it. All the assets are there already at the modding world's fingertips, so is it a legal issue? Or has no one else thought it would be kickarse to have gordon running around with a p90 or bullpup?

can't you do this with garry's mod? (well, i dont know about give your enemies CS weapons, but you cand efinitely use them yourself.)

Yeah, just go into GMod, hold Q, select SWEPS in the drop-down menu, and spawn CSS weapons to your heart's content.

If you absolutely need to take your CS obssession with you everywhere, check out Substance Mod. That's got a bunch of CSS weapons.

bullpup refers to a design not a particular gun so sinkoman is absolutely correct
The gun he refers to is arguably the best assault rifle in the world so knowing its correct name should be a given - the Steyr AUG

the only mod that has ported CSS weapons that I am aware of is Substance
