d3?

Does anyone know what the d1_, d2_ or d3_ in front of the HL2 map names stands for? My guess would be that it's for the day the map is in, but it sounds like an awkward way to name the maps. Kind of like Day three - City 17, level number 7 for d3_c17_07.

Yeah, it's days 1-3. Doesn't seem that awkward to me, but to each his own.

Well it's easier to sort them that way.
After all...the HL2 timeline spans 3 days.
Well...for Gordon and Alyx atleast, since they teleported for 2 weeks after NP blew up.

Indeed it is day1 or day2 etc.

There better named than Half Life was, with that "c1a1a" thing :|

I suppose the c is for "Chapter" but the A's?

Area, maybe. The last a could either be A, B, or C, or whatever letter they had.

And i did mention it took them 2 week to teleport.
