I have been trying to make a dedicated server for the last, oh, lets see here. Year. Yes. I have done everything in my power to try to make it, I even have it set up threw the cmd on my hard drive. I've done sv_lan 0. I've tried to open up ports.
NOTHING WORKS
Here's the deal, I'm on a computer that receives wireless internet from another computer. No big deal right? Wrong. apparantly this is what has been preventing me from getting the server up. I CAN PLAY GAMES FINE, I can even make servers in OTHER GAMES. but I CANNOT get it working for the source dcs.
Every time I have tried to open ports or reconfigure my router one of two things have happened.
1. I lost internet connection, and have to reinstall my hard-ware and then it works again but I can still not make a server
2. Or nothing happens.
I've gone so mad with this problem that I will PAY ANYONE WHO HELPS ME SOLVE THE PROBLEM 20$ THROUGH THE MAIL OR ANY OTHER CONVENIENT WAY.
PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU.
