Did Breen live?

Huge on Breen, just because you would be stuck watching it in some lame spot like behind a bus that was knocked by the two and it would be an epic fight, but Dog would loose and it would be all sad and make Alyx go bloodlust for Breen... Thats just the way these things work out.

BTW, Docweetodd, House is great. Nice pic.

You're the first person who actually knew what my avatar was in a conversation about my avatar, everyone else asks 'Where is your avatar from DoctorWeeTodd?"

I'm gonna put down half a G on Breen because I'm feeling lucky.

Not really, no.

And the forums are getting boring.

How about Breen as a Stalker instead? The Combine angered with the failure of their once trusted Wallace Breen decides to punish him and turn him into a menial drone.

How would the Combine do that if none of them are on Earth? With the fusion reactor destroyed (which powers their tunneling entanglement device) the Combine can't get to Earth anyway (Unless there are other Citadels, which based on certain info is about a 50% chance)

I doubt they ever trusted him either. The Advisor has the ability to manipulate the minds of other beings, its ability to reason and invent is like no other...thats probably what it did to Breen.

Theres a Citadel in every city on earth apparently according to RtB. They popped in places with the highest amount of enemies to destroy which meant Urban areas.

And to your question, they could've just ordered him to be turned into one.

It does indeed say that in Raising the bar (Sept, they were launched into the centre of the cities, to catch people unawares), and it is highly logical but, we don't know for fact really...because that coms complete with things that were scrapped - Air exchange, the slideshow etc...we cannot be sure.

Who would do it? Who'd turn him into a Stalker? The overwatch? The combine have lost connection with Earth, I doubt they'd be able to contact them at all. Plus, I doubt they'd even bother. Might as well leave him to the resistance.

Maybe as a twist ending after everyone is safe and out of the city he reamerges and you actually feel sorry for him. Just an idea now.

Not to mention allegedly causing resonance casade purposely. (We already know he's to blame accidently at least since he was pushing the experiment despite the portests of the staff, but there were all those clues of such as system crashes, military presence already close as foretold by the Helicopter seen on the Tram and the notes from OpFor etc....)

Well, we don't know for sure, like you said if he did it purposely, but he certainly shares a great deal of responsibility for pushing it beyond limits. Ironic really, he prefers to shift the blame on Gordon

That reminded me of a later boss fight in Doom3

with Sarge. There's a climactic level before the fight where he taunts you, sending hundreds of demons spawning everywhere. You expect him to be slightly mutated, but still sarge- and when you find him he's half tank.

Sarge - Click

As you can see, that was pretty suprising. Something like that could be done with breen- half stalker, half human. An interesting boss fight would be if he was strapped onto an operating taple, and you can either press a button to release him, or press a button to kill him. He's be trying to convince you to let him go... but what would YOU do?
