Difference in HL 2 and Source.

I just noticed that I had purchased HL2 and not Source version of HL. What is the difference between these two? HL2 has it's own multiplayer, right?

I hope I don't have to buy the Silver package (already purchased the bronze) just to get HL : Source. :hmph:

No, as far as we know, CS: source is the only HL2 multiplayer that will be available upon release.

Hl2 doenst have its "own" mp. The broze pack comes with Cs:s which is the mp.

You DONT get hl:s, dod:s, valves other games.

Yes, you have to buy the Silver for HL: S. HL2 has Counter-Strike: Source only for bronze.

Half-Life 2 is the long waited for sequel on Half-Life

Half-Life: Source is the original using the new source engine instead of the original quake engine which was used.

is hl2 is tha game
and hl:s is just a enhanced version of hl1!
trust me it is hl2 you want!
hl:s is just for if you havnt played hl1 before and don't wanna miss tha story so they re-made hl1 as hl:s and gave it better graphics!


long story short it is hl2 you want.
