I've been coding a sniper rifle for a Half-Life 2 modification I'm helping out. I've compiled everything, and the new code works perfectly for me. I can use the rifle, I see it in the hud.
I sent the compiled dlls over to my friend, but for him the game doesn't seem to detect them, and no matter what we tried, we couldn't get the new dlls to load properly. I sent over everything, both the server and the client dlls, the data files and the models too, but he can't get it to work. It seems to me that the game doesn't recognise the new dlls, and I really have no idea how to resolve this issue.
I'd like to know if anyone has any solutions to this.
