I'd say yes (in that the RC was accepted and the game is done). Otherwise it wouldn't have made sense for VUG to hold that six month delay over Valve's heads... they could have come back and said, "well it's gonna take us six months for bug fixing... we'll see if the company that buys you out in a year is more co-operative."

I think VUG thought they had all the cards in this game, then Valve revealed a couple of Aces (reviews, Steam release/ CS:S etc) and shocked VUG who now may only be able to sit down using an inflatable rubber ring.

In fact, if HL2 goes gold tomorrow, I will send an inflatable rubber ring to VUG to show my concern for their wellbeing

well you would be mad too if you spent over 2000$ upgrading on a game that keeps getting delayed ,this is my second computer for this great game.

Your computer will still play the game great, and I think a lot of us bought or upgraded computers specificly for this game. In fact, if not for Half Life 2, I'd probably still have my crappy laptop, as it is, I've had a few months of going into game stores and not even bothering to look at the minimum system requirements. All in all, I considder myself lucky.

for some reason when i play css it tops out at 70 fps but a month ago when i took that screenshot it can go up to 200 at times ,whats up. and even when i type fps_max 300 it doent do any thing

I personally think it will go gold next week, but hey, in the meanwhile, instead of sitting on the PC all day refreshing these forums, find something to do while you wait. Make a new hobby. I would say with the pressure Valve is putting on VUG, it could indeed go gold tommorow - VUG is going to need a quick response to prevent them from losing their sales to people wanting to play CS:S. As usual, it could always go gold later, but this is a possibility, albiet an optimistic one.
