Does anyone else feel really sorry for GLaDOS?

Does anyone else think that with proper socialisation GLaDOS could become a functional member of society? Whenever I hear the "Go ahead and leave me.. I think I'd prefer to stay inside", I tear up, just a little.

A 2001 Space Odysseyesque HAL ending would have been cool. Although I guess it did technically end with a song, but not quite as sad.

I don't know. GLaDOS reminded me alot of an ex-girlfriend of mine. Scary!
