does episode 1 use HDR?

I haven't found any reviews that have really touched on the graphics very much.....does hl2:episode 1 use HDR lighting? I assumed that it would.....but I wasn't sure. Just curious.

The independent new sites do touch on HDR in their reviews, the site linked on the halflife2.net frontpage indicates the use of HDR.

So yeah Ep1 does use HDR

HDR causes problems IN EPISODE 1 for some people. Seems like an odd memory leak?

It's really subtle in most places, and screenshots really don't do it justice. One of the most obvious places to see it in action is when you are in the core, trying to stop it from blowing. In certain places if you suddenly look at the core, you get almost completly blinded and then your vision slowly gets back. I kept doing it over and over again.

the graphics is really sharp, the only problem is, Very CPU killer,

it heats up the CPU.
