As the title says...does the Episode Two trailer still load up and play whenever you finish Episode One? I mean now that Ep. 2 is out, the trailer has become redundant, not to mention hopelessly outdated. If I was Valve I'd disable it with a quick update.

If it hasn't been disabled, is there any way to do it myself? It would be annoying to have to wait for the game to exit and load back up to play a video I don't care about anymore every time I finished it.

The last time I played through, it didn't. I see you're in Barain, the Formula 1 race is there next week. And I would hardly call Bahrain insignificant...But to get back on topic, I'm pretty sure the video was disabled because it included footage of things that were cut from Ep2.

I'm hoping that one day, Valve will create an executable that will simply run the Episodes (perhaps even Half-Life 2), Seemlessly back to back. It's probably not possible with the engine change, but it would be nice to play it all as one big, nonsensical 'where the **** did my weapons go?' exercise in awesome.

I finished Episode One about 3 weeks ago, and yes it did play.

Oh, shit yeah this is a good idea. Sit down for an entire weekend, install an I.V. drip and a catheter and play that shit the whole way through. Extreme.

Hmm...mixed answers. So if it's still there, is there any way to disable it?

BTW, Crash, the only reason Bahrain is even semi-well-known is because of Formula 1 and having a US Navy base. If it weren't for those two then no one would have heard about us.

I'm hoping that by then, food will also be downloadable via the Steam network, so you wouldn't even have to move to change the drip!

It does still play, Which is good as I like that trailer...

'We're done running, this is the chance to take back our world...'

'We're not losing it, a second time.'

Well my PC isn't the fastest in the world, so it's annoying waiting for the game to close, start up again, and play a video which became outdated months ago.

It does play for me when I completed it a couple months ago. Still gets me fired up, even after i've already played through Ep 2..

If I remember correctly, I think you can simply remove the video from the Episode 1 folder to prevent it from playing at the end of the game. I don't remember the directory though. It's somewhere in the Steam folder.

how about pressing the esc key while the credits role.
It always seemed to work for me.
