driver problems

my comp reboots when in hl2, and all the other source games, i noticed its only with the new nvidia drivers installed. my graphics card is a nvidia gforce 5200(crappy... i know but it worked before this fine)

damn i cant find what one came out before the latest driver, they need to have a date or sumthing on the downloads and btw, the nvidia drivers are forceware right?

thats y they number them not hard to go to properties advanced and it will tell u what driver u have

i give up... i tried every driver for nvidia on that site and others on different sites, they all are very outdated or dont support my geforce 5200

just use 56.72 or 61.77 those are all of the drivers for nvidia

well i mean, i cant find the one that i was using before , aka, i used to get 30+ fps in hl2 with the one i had before and with the drivers i got off that site i get about 3 fps..

mabye u picked up some spyware somewhere thats always a problem just close proccess that are running in the background might help or raise the heapsize in hl2

If you have Windows XP, you can roll back the drivers.
