driver signing

i have an nVidia Geforce 4 graphics card and to play on half life 2 it says i need to update my driver but the license on the one i need has expired and my computer wont install it, how can i install it!!!???

Hmmm... Did you download it from the official nVidia site?
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

If you did, your problem sure is weird... Normally the electronic signature stays valid for a looong time, especially for official drivers :/
