DVD and CD Versions?

I have a very simple question that requires a very simple answer soon as i get my car out of the shop im gonna go down to my local best buy and get half-life 2...i was wondering does the regualr(NON-CE) version come as regualr cd-rom? seeing as i dont have a dvd drive on this computer nor do i need one due the the fact i have a perfectly fine home entertainment system for movies.

I think he means he has no DVD drive in his computer. He obviously has one for his TV though. You can't use your TV one to play the game, so that means you need the CD version!

I am in this situation, but I d/led from steam
