Dystopia Server Update

The Dystopia team has released a server only update that fixes a few bugs and exploits that could be found in the game. The patch is backwards compatible and is not a client update. yeah, even one more map would be great and would allow for a rotation. However, the team still has my respect for coming out with a almost flawless demo, one map or not.

You working on CRC checks for your stealth VMT material files so that you cant just open them in notepad, change them and see the stealther 100% of the time?

Ha ha, people need to just play the game rather than spend that time trying to find ways to ruin the game for other people.

Or maybe it takes more than 2 months. Maps don't just need to be made, they need to be playtested and tweaked to perfection.

Grow some patience. Swearing at us won't make us get maps out sooner.

It's not like we're holding out on you guys or something. We want to get these new maps out as soon as humanly possible. It's our #1 focus.

No, CRC checks are a stupid way of fixing it. I hardcoded the VMT into the dll in update 1, which was about a month ago.

And i'd just like to say thanks gusdor for trolling yet another dys thread!

Just tried dys out for the first time.. it looks like a great game.. i havent quite gotten the hang of everything cause its pretty complicated at first glance, but it looks and plays great, and it definately feels solid.
