I grew tired of using my dad's guns and decided to start my own collection of firearms, which I decided should begin with:
The Walther P22:
I chose the walther because I like the way it felt in my hand, the build quality seemed excellent, and the caliber is cheap ($14 for 550 rounds). I went to a range today and fired 550 shots, and never had one jam or not fire.
For a comparison, my P22 shoots the round on the far right:
I asked my dad for a ruger 10/22 for christmas, and maybe in a few months I may move up to a larger rifle if I'm still enjoying shooting:
I just like the .22 stuff because the ammo is so damn cheap. Right now I'm spending $0.02 per round, but if I start moving up I could be spending anywhere from a $0.25 to $0.50 per round
