edit a map???

i want to edit dm_runoff and change a few things for the server i am hosting how do i edit and change this map???? i a newbie so any help is great thanks :bounce: :sniper:

you will need to use the Hammer map editor, which is part of the valve SDK. You can access that through steam.

Problem: You only have a compiled map (eg, in .bsp format). You cannot modify those without breaking them.
A more skilled mapper might come along and help you with that problem.

Until then, do not double post anymore.

I have modified dm_runoff, and actually a lot of people love it, added a tunnel and a lot more.... more fun than the original.....
