What do you think of Serj's album eh?

Bought it today. Its decent. Daron Malakian's composing skills are missed a little bit. But, the songs are catchy, and the vocals are great if you like Serj's voice.

Haven't heard anything off it yet, but I imagine it will good. I think Kerrang! gave it four Ks. Serj is awesome!

I watched him support Foo Fighters the other week. He was... well, it was shit. The music was just so bland and dull, esp. the instrumentation of it all anyway. Some of his lyrics were laughable, like that Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition song.

Also, you know when a musician in the band throws out the plec they were using at the end of the show just for the hell of it? The guys in Serjs band had BOXES of plecs and drumsticks to throw out and they were doing it all the way through the show. Seriously, they turned it into some sort of gimmick.

''Wow, a plec from that bassist who plays with Serj that had no character or unique sense of playing style at all! Wait, who the hell was that nobody?''

Perhaps it's just me that gets annoyed at something so petty like that but these guys really thought they were something, when really, probably even Serj doesn't know their names.

Alas, the Foos were up next and we wanted a good spot for them, so going back to the bar or something would of been futile. Plus, it was already crammed as we arrived so getting out would of been insane.

The band Serj tours with is called FCC which stands for the flying cunts of chaos. He played most all the instruments on elect the dead himself, however.

yeah, serj was supporting them in the EMA 2007. He was talking about how the greatest of bands could start a riot and stuff before that, and he said it in a sort of an epic way and he and I pretty much expected an applause, and well there was nothing. I swear I saw a 1 second look of confusion on his face.
