embedding xfire and x360 gamercards

i have no idea which section to post this in but here goes....

i'm trying to embed both my xfire and x360 stats in my signature but as you can see below, it isn't working very well
i've pasted the links that the two sites gave me into my sig but the images aren't showing up
what am i doing wrong?

i was looking through that thread and i just assumed you could use it in your sig
why isn't it allowed anyways?

We don't allow image signatures because they're ugly, garish, and unnecessary. Sure, sometimes they're tasteful and cool, but more often in not they aren't, so we don't allow them.

Which is actually one of the things I really, really like about this forum.
