Emergency, Mod structure help needed as soon as possible please!

Hi guys,

I've been creating a mod, but have got confused along the way.

I created a new mod with Steam so it comes under 3rd party games.

I can play it, it's a mod of hl2 deathmatch, but I have some questions:

I have created the models for my map and compiled them as hl2 deathmatch rather than my individual mod.

So all the models etc are where they should be for hl2 dm.

I copied the map (which was also created as a hl2 dm map instead of one for my own mod) into my mod's map folder, and the whole thing runs fine.....

Will i need to re-compile everything as my mod instead of for hl2dm if i want to get this to work on other people's machines etc?

Can anyone help me get the whole thing together as 1 installation or something and let me know if I've gone wrong and what to actually do next to get it as a distributable mod?

Thanks to anyone in advance, I need to have this ready to install within the next few days as I have to pitch my game to a panel soon :eek:
 
Oh yeah and the level plays fine as deathmatch, but if i make 4 player starts: info_player_rebel and 4 player starts info_player_combine the level compiles then loads hl2dm and crashes with an error memory could not be read message.

Any ideas?

What are the correct info_player thingies to use if i want 2 teams in hl2dm mode?
