End of Sands Chapter HELP

I am stuck at the part where Gordon gets to the end of the sands chapter with the anlions warriors. I am at the rock face after the fire/boat/ 2 zombies part, at the walls to Nova Prospekt I think where the two large pipes come down the rock face. I am at the first cat-walk and above me is the top where the fortress is. There isn't a ladder though but I can see a hole in the cat-walk above me where a short, maybe 2 foot ladder, seems to be coming down. How do I get up there? I have also walked and lept over one or two chasms to the right (facing the wall) as far as I can go to the point where someone from the other fortress shoots at me and a zombie comes down from above and gets attacked by one of the antlions but I don't see any way to get up there. HELP... Thanks.

Can you post a screen shot please, I don't have a clue where you are...

There's a small patch of land to the right (if you're facing the cliff wall). Jump to it, and continue.

EDIT: Or if you're at the part with the fire, knock down the wooden thing and use it as a ladder/ramp.

You go round behind the 2nd to last fortress, and there is a ampitheatre looking thing, which has a hole in the wall next to that will load the next map.

I did jump to the right past the two supply boxes as far as I could go. I was attacked by a zombie from above but the antlions got to him beofre I did and tossed him over my head. I don't see any way to get up there...

You have to scale the cliff face, you should be able to reach the inelt pipe.

Ohhh, there should be some pieces of wood supporting a platform, take those out and walk up the wooden walkway.

no, not there. After that, up the trail on the cliff face, under the first fortress where the ladder to the cat-walk is.
