Enemy Territory

Soo, I decided to download it and start playing again, and it's awesome. But I seem to be getting some sort of sound lag. So I fire a gun and a couple of seconds later the noise plays. I tried playing offline but the same happens. Anyone know why this could be happening?

isnt there an audio hardware accelerator ingame? - try fiddling with the variables there, i had a similar problem with deus ex

Yes, Enemy Territory is awesome!

I have no idea what your problem could be mate. Since you still have the problem offline it probably is a sound card/driver issue. Try getting the latest ones, or format windows...

Also check your sound drivers and sys. reqs. etc. But I'm sure you know 'bout that so yea, patches.

ET, I had some good times with that game... all of the crashes during map loads, the lock-ups during intense fire fights... Oh yes...

Worse comes to worse you could enable the on-board sound card. I've had luck with that for games with sound issues.

Could also go to your soundcard website and check for updates. Creative/Soundblaster has an auto-updater if you go to their website.
