He wants to know the difference between:
Enthusiast (sp?!?), mainstream, and performance videocards.

Enthusiast and performance are the same, they are the high-end cards.
Mainstream are the middle of the road cards, good band for the buck.
The last one is budget, you get these for a 2nd comp maybe, or if you don't have much money to spend on a videocard.
