I have a load of self-made screenshots from my journey through EP2. I skipped over the antlion cave part, because I thought that was boring. I mostly highlight the new elements of EP2. I skipped the final chapter because it was so hard to get a screenshot, while still staying alive.

There was a thread about it somewhere. I remember someone coming to the conclusion that it's some remnant of their original culture, way before this whole "invading other dimensions thing" started.
