I bet you weren't expecting this thread.
So I just bought and watched the whole trilogy of 'Scream' yesterday, and I realised that the rules set down for the Horror Genre of Movies could actually apply to any movie/game with a deep storyline.
So how does this apply to the Halflife Trilogy (Assuming that the episodes actually are Halflife3)
HalfLife 1- Rules set down
-Introduction to Xen, Teleportation, Gman
-You are working at Black Mesa, where it all started
HalfLife 2- Bend the Rules
-People hated or loved the sequel
-You are working for the Gman
-The Antagonist turns out to have connections with HL1 (Dr Breen/Black Mesa)
-Twist in Gordons story (His services is available for the highest bidder
Episodes 1 to 3- Break the Rules
-Vortigaunts break Gmans dominion over you
-Black Mesa comes back to haunt Gordon
-Love interest in danger (Alyx, presumed dead in Ep2 trailer)
-Fight Back (50% chance)
Its rumoured that their will be a Episode 4, and Gordon will not be a playable character. Now in my experiences:
-Not played by any of the main characters, but has connections with the others
-Generally a prequel
-It is its own storyline
Now with that in mind, it might have something to do with the 'Employers' that we here so much about...
