Great story, great scenery.

The acting is dumb and the production is very amateurish. I love the film but would very much like to see it redone with the attention it deserves.

Uther should be played by Russle Crowe... in this fictional redux..

Heh great film, completely stupid, but full of blokes wearing great big suits of armour and beating the shit out of each other with bloody big swords, plus it has captain Picard and Liam Nesson in it

This is the only movie that is true to the real legend of King Arthur. Maybe not completely accurate, but it is the closest you can get to seeing the real legend on film. I would also love for there to be another King Arthur movie. If done right, it would be bigger than Lord of the Rings. In fact, the director of Excalibur first tried to make a movie on LOTR but he couldn't get the rights, so he did this instead.
