expansion pack Alyx game ending

I'm pretty sure it is official. They want to make expansions where you play as Alyx and DOG, or along those lines.

First of all, VALVe would never make you play alyx along with Freeman.

Second, They would never make an expansion pack where you play at the exact same time as the character you already have. In the same places etc..

Third, nobody knows that alyx died, she most likely didn't.

Er... don't really see this, considering that the two valve sanctioned expansion packs for HL1 both had you playing as someone in the same time frame as you had been freeman, and in the same places in parts. (Op4 and Blue Shift)

well dog would be easy to do, because hes so damn violent and just kinda comes and goes. But as someone else said before, i have a problem playing as alyx because in HL2 alyx craled through vents, up drain pipes, hacked computers, and all that stuff, but if you could play as her, i doubt we would be able to do that. I mean come on, how much actual fighting did alyx see in the game...not too much she was too busy crawling through gates and unlocking doors.

Well, im sure she didn't die but if she did, I think well hey, that would be cool, I hate stupid american hollywood endings where everyone who is good always lives except for the few who didn't have a big part in the story to begin with. actually in all honesty I hope she doesn't die (see ive been programmed, LOL) but really i wouldn't want an alex expansion in the first place, I would rather have a extension of gordon or "the lost levels" some sh!t like that... well i don't know im not putting much thought into it, i will just leave it at that.

mainly because he would have a bad ass gravity like gun built right into his hands, (notice when your playing fetch with dog in the chapter "black mesa east") and you'd be able to throw things like CARS at people, WOAH!

Alyx is not of the murdering one-man-army blood that Gordon has. I honestly think that making Alyx the character you play as is a pretty big mistake.

I'm going to wait until I get an official confirmation of this expansion from some other sources.

where does this dog as a playable charector come from? its idiocy. dog is a sidekick thats all. if anything you will be able to tell him to go over there and do something. you will control him like you do the resistance fighters. you will not be playing as dog.
