Failng to backup EP2

.. It just comes to the last minutes and it doesn't move. It's stuck for hours.. I tried twice already.. the system is overloaded so I know it could be doing something but it keeps me unable to use the PC because the process is tense.. any suggestions? help?

All I know is that most of the games I recently bought from steam are taking a lot time to back up. The process never got stuck, but I had to wait hours (i.e. leave the PC turned on at night)
