There is a noise that repeats itself when you get in that teleporter for the first time and things go wrong. I think I remember it from the first game when you pushed the whatever stuff into the beam and the "gate" opened.
Its a long pulse followed by a short pulse lower in tone. It repeats itself. Now, it may be the score. Or maybe its some big chrono device, controlling time or something, and thats the sound it makes.
I'm talking about the part where Alyx gets transported first. Then you go in and it fcks up. PULSEpulse PULSEpulse PULSEpulse. The second pulse lower in tone than the first.
It just jogged my memory when I heard it. Though I am borderline autistic in regards to sound memorization.
Am I stretching about it being a chrono device (that maybe Gordon can only hear), or is it merely the game score?
