-Video Textures; let's just say I made a video showing space with the stars, shooting stars and pass by ships how would I put it into Hammer as a animated texture?

-Making new ambient sounds

-How to make a health system with let's just say, a small red curcle with a circular and larger boarder that is blue. How to make the blue parts decrease as the player is damaged then make the red part critical health?

1. I know that you can make some TV feeds to areas in your level that you could use for the moving spaceships, but this would mean you need to make the spaceships. I don't know if you can place video files into your map and get them to play off TV screens, but I don't think so.

Animated textures in general are not 'video quality', though. They are basically like animated GIFs, not too complex or long. The stars would be achievable, the moving ships could be done but would look crap. If you're making a video but using Hammer to make some 3D stuff for the video, it would be better to 'greenscreen' the stars and spaceships and add them back in when you come to editing the video.

2. This is a very general question. For questions this general it's best to check the Valve Wiki. If you have specific sounds you want ask again with more details (length, type of sound, when triggered, etc.)

3. Draw up a concept of your HUD so that people understand it (give something like 3 examples to show how the HUD changes: full health, 50% health and 10% health). I know that some healthbar concepts are very difficult to do as a HUD in Source, even if they would be a piece of cake to make in something like Flash or even PowerPoint. You need to mock up your ideas as drawings and ask a programmer's opinion.
