Iced_Eagle said:I didn't mind game testing, but that's because I've been conditioned by being in MANY beta's
My last beta's were Quake IV and Call of Duty 2 on the game-side and currently testing Windows Vista.
QuakeIV and CoD2 were just awesome experiences... Sure there are some bugs, but you still get to have your fun trash-talking and doing all the fun competition...
Though naturally every time you play, there is a time when everyone stops the game to try to reproduce certain bugs... Those aren't bad because usually we find the bug and can repro it within 30 minutes if we knew what happened exactly.
I signed up for this, I hope I get picked.
As a thank-you for testing some Activision games I actually received a signed-copy of Doom3, t-shirt (Call of Duty style), and obviously 99% of the games I test.I was pretty much a volunteer, working from my own home so I didn't get paid... I wish though!
*Edit* I know some members on here were part of the Visioneers... RIP Vis!!!
