Finally Played Half Life 2

My friend got half life 2 yesterday and I went over to see it. I decided to sleep over so we could play it all night. And we did. It is soo good. Just love it so much. Along with the graphics the sound is really good too. Physics are just so fun. Its so great to trash peoples apartments in the begining. We also downloaded the antlion troopers map and that is wicked cool also. Was wondering if its possible to install the same copy of hl2 on two different pc's. I'm going to get it for my dad for xmas and I want to play it on my pc too. Is this possible?

I'm pretty sure two people can play at the same time online, just not on the same server.

You cannot be logged into steam on the same account on two computers concurrently.

You can, however, run steam in offline mode and play HL2 on as many computers as you like with only one account.

I'm pretty sure two people can play at the same time online, just not on the same server.

Its possible, it just renames each user with a (1) or (2) after the name if your in the same game.

edit: I forget, the only time we tested this was in our own LAN game... not sure if it was public or not, but we WERE connected to steam at the time.
