First HL2 Mod Released! woot...

Sorry if this has allready been posted but the first HL2 mod has been released... looks pretty cool... DLing it now to see if its any good... it's called Mechmod

It's not for Half-Life 2. I know, the water. It is highly anticipated because it is the first mod to actually suceed on putting shaders into Half-Life.

hmmm... i just did some reading on the mechmod forums and apparently this is a "warm up" for the mod i guess... they are eventually gonna port it over to hl2... which prob wont take an incredibly long ammount of time... hopfuly

That does actually look very nice for the HL1 engine...

that's cool cuz that means half life 2 mod will have much better graphics. i was thinking to myself while watching the trailer, damn, this mod has bad graphics for half life 2 engine

How could you think that is Half Life 2? Look at the terrain, they are so horribly low poly.

The water is why I thought it was for HL2 initally, shaders. Amazing water.
