Hey, so far throughout the game whenever I try to activate my Flashlight it won't work. Well it does drain the power but doesn't illuminate anything. I am very frustrated as I just entered the mine and can't see to much. Thanks for any info you all can spare.

Post your computer specs (especially your gfx card) and post what in-game setting you're running HL2 with. Im guessing it's either that your gfx card isn't supporting something, you're running it with the settings messed up, or you haven't updated directx or your gfx card to the latest version.

Then again, you could just need to reinstall? lol

Or it could just be that you are trying to light up something too far away, after a few meters the light has no effect anyway. Try pointing it at your feet and seeing what it does
