Follow Freeman - Striders

hi guys,

i'm at the part where you have to take down a couple of striders.

all my npc's are dead, and i can manage to salvage enough rockets from them to take 1 of the 2 striders down, but i look up again and another one has turned up!!!

do i HAVE to kill them? where are there more rockets?

i tried going back up the stairs to get those rockets from the roof but the stairs is busted.

if anyone can help me progress at all, i would really appreciate it.

I'm quite sure you have to kill every strider you see in the game, except the one where you're in some building and there's one that's just walking back and fourth between the road and the alley way.

I know that might not help, but...that's as descriptive as I can be.

As for the place you're at...I'm sure you have to kill them. There are rockets around the place, just look hard.

Move from cover to cover and the game takes you to ammo stashes;
From the wrecked APC to the museum stairs (pick up launchers from dead NPCs) then dive down the crater and run through the sewer, out the other side, turn around and sprint into the small building on the left - the armoury/jail you went through earlier. There are more rockets in here and a great firing position at a window. Then bolt back out of this building across the square and just when you start to freak about charging across open ground you can dive down under a statue thing or something - some kind of dug-out anyway - and there are more rockets and NPCs. Then from there you hop, skip + jump across the street, run behind the pillars/rubble and there's an infinite ammo rocket crate...

The game guides you with the placement of cover...move, shoot for a bit, move on. Kill dem striders.

It seems to me there are a couple of places where you have to "kill a couple of striders". That said, every time you have to kill striders, there's a crate of rockets hanging out somewhere.

go back across where the street was, to where you first came onto it, when the supressor was firing, theres a crate there
