What you should of done is pm the main culprits of the people starting the threads and delete the threads, if any new threads come up, issue warnings to the thread starters and delete the threads. If they post again, temporary ban.

We don't get any more discussions on this Hetaria business, forums remain clean, you don't get a bulbous growth on the back of your neck and you get rid of a few idiots in the process.

Then, all it would have required is locking before anyone posted and making it a sticky... no discussion needed. In addition, it could be amended to the rules and enforced as such.

The thing people are calling you out on is creating a thread about the very thing we are told not to create threads about and then letting everyone fight in it (which is exactly why we are being told not to make threads about it) without closing it... and even participating in the fights. You're, essentially, giving the impression that you are above the law.
