would you mind uploading some screenshots? I can't find any online. Unless I completely misunderstood what hl:source is, it's basically hl1 with source engine, and I want to update the wikipedia articles with the better looking version.

What you want it Black Mesa Source. It's a mod for HL2 in the works. Half-life in all the juicy goodness of HL2 graphics.

a movie i made all by myself, filmed in Half-life Source. Basecly its the same thing as hl1, but the 3D geometry looks better and more "deepth" in the 3ds. Added phyisics, new water, some new sounds, better lightning, and some areas has even been remaped with awesome graphics!
