Hey guys, I hope I can post my story here. And it is a story on the policeman Barney Calhoun from HL1 and HL2. Or if it is in the wrong forum, kindly please move it for me. Any comments and constructive criticisms to help me improve on which part are welcome.

Chapter 1: Horrors around a abandoned Mansion
May 2, 1998
Night
8.00 P.M
It was a full of striking thunder, raindrops pounded endlessly on the ground. And the wind was blowing hard and trees and the grass were swaying around by the moving wind.
Barney Calhoun,a Black Mesa security guard but now a former police officer outside Tulsa, Oklahoma was sent to investigate what had happened outside the mansion as there were reports on people missing. Two policemen were sent to search the mansion but went missing after that.
After Barney arrived at the scene with his old police car. He buckled up his gun and stepped out of the car, feeling a bit nervous and convincing himself that there is nothing to be scared about.
When he searched the whole area of the grassland, and he saw a gruesome find, he slowly pulled out a gun from the ground but slowly reveals, a torn hand holding a gun. Then a loud thunder suddenly struck on the sky and there were flashing. Suddenly a sihoulette emerge from the deep ground and when it saw the horror-stricken Barney, it suddenly limbed faster to him and tried to grab him.
But Barney dodged off the sudden grab from the dark shape and it suddenly revealed, it's a zombie in it's mutated form, with patches of blood on it, It is a fast zombie. Barney then shoots the zombie, bullets piercing through the body and it dropped on the floor, then he ran back to his car, to start the engine, but it couldn't work, "Shit!" Barney said to himself. He checked the car, the tires were punctured, he decided to notify the HQ about this but the line was cut off.
Barney got out of the car and the zombie suddenly rises up, he shot the zombie many times but failed to bring the zombie back to it's grave. And it emerged many zombies, he decided to ran away but the zombies were actually faster and improved ones, ran after Barney. While Barney was running, he was suddenly in luck, he saw a mansion nearby and he headed for it, his heart was pounding and his legs carried him faster.
He managed to get to the entrance of the Mansion and opens the door quickly and hurriedly shut it. He heard banging on the door, and suddenly there was a dead silence, he saw outside the windows, there were many of these living dead outside roaming around. He knew that he had to escape this horror alive, by finding a way to the back door and searching for clues to this horror and notify the HQ about it. And he had to face the worse nightmare that he had ever behold.
