I'm sure many of you have downloaded the Half-Life 2 OC Bench Tools. Well after having those for some time, recently the fps counter that appears while running the Half-Life 2 benchmarks has been appearing in any Half-Life 2 program I run, period, even if it's a mod. It's starting to become really bothersome and distracting and I tried uninstalling the Half-Life 2 OC Bench Tools to no avail. Does anyone have any advice as to how to rid myself of it?

Haha, that little counter in the top right? I have the same darn thing. You can disable it in the console.. that's all i know.

Not sure what the command is, however. :(

Try looking for a command such as cl_showfps 1 and switch it to 0 or something.

Here you go:

Pull down the console by hitting the "~" key (use "ctrl" + "alt" + "~" if that doesn't work), then enter "cl_showfps 0" (without the quotes, of course), and click the "Submit" button at the lower right; entering "cl_showfps 1" renables the FPS display, and "cl_showfps 2" shows your averaged FPS.
