friends system officially fixed!

EDIT: okay, the command to launch the friends beta was in my steam shortcut, even though I haven't put it in there yet. :|

Actually I had quite a few before it broke down I wonder if they would still be there? I havent bothered to do the beta steam Im just happy that it works kinda.

Talking about working.. does the ingame css favourites work if you are on the beta??

I haven't tried since this pc doesn't have CS:S loaded on it. But in normal CS it worked fine.

heres the trick to getting the favorites list to work in-game.
first, open up the favorites list while still at your desktop, join a server from the list and if you want to switch servers, the in-game favorites list should work.

at least that works for me...yeah its strange but it works this way.

Dr. Freeman I tried that and didnt work (thats how i usually join a server), however the update today that made friends beta easier to join fixed it..
