I hope this doesn't mean cancellation is on the horizon. Show has been really hitting its stride lately with the serialized storytelling.

If they do plan to cancel it, they should at least let the creators finish up the story. I'm want answers regradin the ancient doomsday device, and the "first people".

Speaking of which, the whole "first people" idea sounds a lot like the "ancients" from the Stargate series...

Oh Christ.
Time to start worrying.

Knowing FOX's track record, it's very likely that it will be.
First they move it from Tuesday to Thursday, then they constantly delay it and now this shit. Why the **** does anybody still pitch shows to this asshole of a network?

I remember there was some episode about some asshole who made other assholes but they grew older multiple times faster than a human being unless they drank from other people's pineal gland (Or something.) How the characters found the culprit was by uploading a photograph of a bridge into some software that was able to tell them the exact location, time, angle and location of the camera, too, along with the big classic flashing green MATCH FOUND MATCH FOUND popping up in the middle of the screen with no "Okay" or close button. At least the VideoCoPilot dude makes the titles, he was always a suave AfterEffects effecting mah'fuggah.

Maybe that's why it's being cancelled.

So, you're judging the entire series based on a standalone episode from season one?

I saw it and I thought it sucked, so I stopped watching it, yeah. I mean, what was the entire point of the cast even existing if some meta-physical computer program completely dodges the conflict in the episode's plot?

I do think it'll end this season but I'm also sure the producers are aware of it, and we're still very early in the season. 7 out of 22, so I think everything will be fine.

And I agree the 3rd season, not to mention the last half of the 2nd season are a huge improvement over the rest. S1 is indeed quite weak.

I barely even remember Season 1 so I really can't comment on that, but you shouldn't be so quick to dismiss it just because of one ridiculous moment like that.
Sure, it resembles CSI in that regard, but I don't believe it has too many moments like that... I'm pretty sure that that was just a one time thing.
The rest of the show is a bunch of pseudo science silliness but I find it interesting most of the time and fairly entertaining, if only for the characters reactions to everything.

You really should try to give it another chance.
