Do you think that G-man will be watching us through the game like in HL1?

Seems like a harder task to do in City 17, since it's so large and you'll be travelling across huge landscapes (beaches, lakes etc.)

G-man just makes a phonecall and he gets a personal portal...

Nah, he likes to run it, he wants to keep in shape.

It would definitely be cool. Maybe you'll see him interrogating a citizen looking through a hole in a prison door or something, but I expect him to pop up in various places, just as in HL1 / OF

Hmm, I didn't think of that. I hope he is. In certain sections.

Probably even more since they´re good friends and all that now. :)

(Didn´t Valve mention at some point that they were going to get into the relationship between gordon and Gman more thoroughly this time?)

I wonder if bullets will still bounce off him...

From an interview at hl2.gamingsource.co.uk

Q:Hoaxer(nickname of interviewer): Weird question, but...will the G-Man be invulnerable again? :D

A:Gabe Newell: Do not shoot the G-Man. Bad bad idea.

Then I intend to shoot him with a very big gun.

I will test what will happen when I shoot at G-Man.
I think he wont die, but you will die in 1,5sec. :D

Should be interesting to find out what happens if you do shoot him...

Did I say when, I meant if!

Nar I probably wont, I wana fully appeciate this game...

I'm guessing he will warp out...and you'd get flooded with 10000+ enemies...

or better yet...he warps you back to fight those grunts from hL1(if you declined his offer)

I guess it's back to using all the tricks in the book (Satchel n' nades anyone?).

Err Marksman did you mean "Did I say if? I meant when!"...

Mmmm, certainly is tempting.
I imagine he'll send you to a room/area similar to the one which was full of beasties if you declined his offer of employment. I don't see the G-Man as the sort of fellow to his hands particularly messy.

I bet he would kill you after deleting all of your saved games if you tried to shoot him.

No you back up your saved games, and then shoot him, that way they cant delete your saved games, mokeydust. But i definatly think he will be watching you, if he doesnt, maybe Breen or someone else will watch you.

If you shoot the g-man he will poke you in the eye with a stick.

he will morph into the alien that he truly is. The ass kicking of gordon will be prompt. Other than that, the teleport idea is a good one.

I think the way Gabe said "bad, bad idea" gives me the creeps. It's just like in those b-movies when a retarded guy warns the main character not to poke his nose where he shouldn't. And then bad, bad things happen...

Funny, because Gabe saying bad bad idea just seems like him making a joke to me. :P
