Before you fret, this isn't a conspiracy on the name of G-Man, just rather how I think he transported around. For quite some time I was curious, you see him in certain places, on a train, in a window, and so forth, but he appears to walk into somewhere that is a dead end. I've always wondered how the hell did he leave, get to a specific spot, all before you even had the chance to? Then I thought about Xen. I believe he is using the teleportation that you use when you go to Xen. I may be wrong, but it is probably a feasible theory. Any comments on this?

not to be a dick but i had always assumed that everyone knew/thought this?

Yeah... it's seems like the probable thing, seeing as he uses the exact same effect as the teleporter when he transports you around at the end.

I originally thought this was a continuity error. But when Op4 was released, you see him teleport (After he talked on his phone), the level with the Dam

Phone?

Yup, he's standing on this tower thingy in the middle of the water, yakking away like nobody's business. And there's this big teleportal behind him.

You also see him teleport in Half-Life, when you're running around the labs, raising the water levels etc

I think G-man's kinda creepy.... And why cant you kill him?!?!?!? I've tried a Thousand times almost.......

oh, by the way... If you really want to find out, use the "noclip" code and follow him as fast as you can... but maybe Im just spoiling your excitement.....

I think he has a teleportmachine in that briefcase. =)

no, actually, he's got a gun, some files and stuff, and an ID card... if you load up the G-man model in Model Viewer, you can posision the camera inside his briefcase and see this... in other words, it's there in the game, but you never see it, and it serves no purpose... makes you wonder why they put it in there!

so people like you could get all excited when they found it

Hm... got a lot of time on your hands, eh?

(For amusement, hit him with a crowbar in HL1. He is made of steel!)

You have to wonder where he got the teleportation kit though. That stuff was still heavily in development at Black Mesa, so it can't have come from Earth. Also, he seemingly creates portals without operating any kind of machinery - how's he operating it? The G-Man is the real enigma of the Half-Life series...

Yes he definately has strong ties. I think he knows almost everything that goes on but he neglects to tell you whats happening. Maybe he has some kind of teleporting device inplanted in him or something.
