Why is it that at websites like: www.game.uk.com and amazon.co.uk they are charging £19.99 (well amazon was being nice and lets you have 25% off if you pre-order I believe), when the game should cost *nips to google to convert $20 to £* is £10.69! I'd really like to know how they got them selves justified to charge twice the price of what the cost is in America :|

Seriously, they are taking the piss, I'm going to go check out some other game prices too...

Edit: Urgh we seem to get £4 to £6 extra on the price tag for other games too :(

Well for one our tax rate is probably higher than there's. Also off steam you are just buying the game, not a box and physical disk which both cost money to manufacture too.

Just purchased Episode 1 and its downloading. Can't wait to play! :D

Well the boxed version of Episode 1 is $20 too in america, so it cant be manufacturing, and our tax is 17.5% isnt it? So at most i'd expect £12... ;(

Well, that's just what we get. Most things get a direct conversion (i.e $299 -> £299) It's just the way it is for us :(

Problem: Steam doesn't like Maestro/Switch :(
