Game won't start....

I've played Half Life 2 for two months and everything went swell.
Few days ago I playsed CS:S for the first time. It was great...mmm..

BuT! Sincet than I cant start neither of the two games!!!

after clicking the icon I see the sand watch for few seconds and.. nothing.
Sometimes an error message appers. something about steam engine error (no. 200) and winsocket promlem.

I tried all the solutions that the support recommend. It just won't work.

I have pentiem 4 and a new graphic card (Radeon, x700).

So you've also tried:
-Validating? (Click here :steam://validate/220)
-Deleting the clientregistry.blob (In main Steam folder) and platform.gcf (In the Steamapps folder) after exiting Steam? (Make sure to make a backup of both files before continueing)
-Downloading the newest video and sound drivers for your computer?
