Garry mod bug? plz help

When I spawn NPCs who can equip weapons, they always use the same weapon as I had previously selected for them. This goes the same for what ever tool I use eg. remover

so I select a shotgun for a NPC and in order for him/her to use it I have to start up a new game. This is the same process I have to take for the tools.

I do not no what is causing it. Please can anyone help.

Everyones got it... It happend when the friend system for steam got back up.
Yeah it sucks. Wait for the new Garrys mod i guess.

that sucks. I invited a mate round today to have a go at garrys mod (and play a tonne of other games) and to my disappointment it screwed up on me :dozey:

No problem. I read on Garrys mods forum that there is a fix... But that it wasent a very good one.
