Garrys mod help

Hey everybody, I cant get Garrys Mod to work. I extracted it to C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/SourceMods but it doesnt work. What am I doing wrong?

nothing by the sounds of it. should be in your 3rd party mods list.

Make sure there's a garrysmod folder in your sourcemods folder.
