You can download it here.

It is slightly similar to jbmod in that you can weld objects and make ropes between objects, but it is so much more.

the pistol spawns manhacks and scanners wherever it's pointed.

the rocket launcher spawns various physics models at incredibly high rates of speed.

the crossbow does welding.

the revolver sets a camera location

and I'm sure I must be forgetting something.

However, it's incredibly fun taking stuff like tables, attaching scanners all over it, and having it follow you around like some sort of Death Star.

I have some pics, but I'm not sure if I can upload them from this comp so I'll try and post them in a bit.

edit: and yes, I know I have a lot of short little lines in this post. i'm tired, deal with it.

wow i just played it, i shot so many props out of the rocket launcher that i crashed it. pretty fun!!!!! the welding doesnt make much sense to me but ill get the hang of it.

it's kinda weird. when you weld, the objects can really be anywhere. however, it gets funky when you weld two things across the map. ropes work good though :E

You can't really compare this with JBmod. Both are good. JBmod is more focused on welding, so it's going to be more fleshed out and refined in that area. Garrys Mod is fun because it seems like he just made the weapons do whatever the hell he thought would be fun, and it turned out to be a blast.

Yes, just tried it. Played until it crashed.

Needs MP bad. Rope mode + buggy is fun. The camera gun is way cool. The rocket launcher could be better. Attaching a scanner to a concrete block does provide you with a pet.

All in all, it was worth the download.

This mod is actually quite fun...
You just have to note, that you have to play maps you already have, like the original Half-Life 2 maps. At some points this shows how brilliant Half-Life 2 can be!!! Try attaction manhacks to antlions! Wee!!!

I attached like 15 man hacks to a blue floating barrel and it slowly chased me around the map like a giant sawblade made out of little saw blades and when I wasn't looking it crushed me.

I downloaded the mod, and followed the instructions in the wtf.txt file. As soon as I type, map d1_trainstation_01 or whatever the map is, and press enter, the game basically freezes. In the console, it says,

User garry disconnected from server
Reason: Disconnect by user

And nothing happens.

Any ideas ?

Ok, just tried d1_town_01 and it took a bit less longer to load, so that fixes that. I also did net_start before I loaded the map. Was lots of fun . Filled up Ravenholm with monitors lol

Gonna try trainstation again now (ravenholm died, lol. Crashed )

its cool, i attached 3 people to alot of manhacks and they fly across the map...gets very choppy though
