'Generic Threads' forum

Instead of having endless 'Game X is better than HL2', 'I hate Valve for letting HL2 slip', 'I love Valve for letting HL2 slip', and yes, 'Valve owes you nothing' threads, why not make a 'generic threads forum, and lock anything posted in the other forums that is covered there? It'd cut down on the amount of repetitous threads we see.
