Going to watch Incubus concert this friday..

Not that it means anything to most of you people, but the fact is, this is the first concert i am ever going to in my life.

I'm beyond excited. Never really been to a rock concert so I have no idea how the whole scene is going to be like (Mind you this is Singapore, so it won't be too mad or bad which is sad). I'll try to take some pics. and videos if possible, but they probably won't allow it in there, those security guard fags.

Speaking of Incubus, I love that band yes, and I really hope they perform stuff from SCIENCE and FA, instead of just their main Singles. I know they are good live, so I can expect a great performance. Anyway, just wanted to share..

Awesome. I saw them in august. They were definitley awesome live, but the lead singer was clearly stoned, and he wasn't terribly good at playing his instrument when he could barely stand.

Ive only been to one concert ever too, ironically, that was Incubus. We were in the US and i got tickets for Incubus Alive At Red Rocks in July 2004 like the day it was announced, as we happened to be going to the US (Colorado) at the time.

It was hands down the greatest thing ive ever seen. Incubus are just unbeatable live. The atmosphere, the band themselves, Brandon was a bit weird during the second half but anyway.

Come to the UK damn it! I wanna see them live again!

Anyways, enjoy that concert, I learned that concerts are not all the fun they are cracked up to be. Theres only a few that I'll spend good money on, and only a few that end up being a lot of fun. If the crowd isn't good, it sucks.

I completely forgot about this thread. Yeah, I went for it about a month ago, and it was ****ing awesome as I expected. They didn't play anything from SCIENCE expect for a certain shade of green, but they unleashed all they had on morning view, make yourself and lg. Nice to Know You and Oil and Water was performed flawlessly and awesomely. It was amazing the atmosphere, with everyone chanting along with Brandon's words. Well that's not the awesome part of my post, but how me and friends actually got in.

You see, the concert was held in this enclosed outdoor "hill-like" area called Fort Canning Park, and the tickets of course, cost 150 Dollars for entrance fees on that day itself. And naturally, 150 dollars is alot of money for poor souls like me and my friends. So, being Incubus fans, we didn't want to diss the band and try and enter (we actually did, climbing over the fence and all, but we got chased out. The women actually made my friend climb back over the fence and under the white plastic draping)

Thus, we came upon a plan. We had 75 dollars with us each. And only people who had the concert rubber band wrapped around their arms would get to go in and out. There were 5 of us by the way. So two of us bought tickets (75*2) and we went in first. Then, I removed my band while inside the area and gave it to my friend, who went outside and gave my band to another friend outside. And one by one, we got inside. It was freaking insane, as the security women was watching our every move, since she clearly remembered chasing us out just now. So we all got in and enjoyed the concert.

Then, we were getting out, and it was one hell of a crowd. The women actually saw us exit, and saw 3 of us have no bands around our arms. True, we "could" have removed it but it was too obvious already, after all our encounters with her. So she kind of called us out over the crowd. Naturally, we ran like no tomorrow away from her, with Pistola still thumping in our head. Yes, parts of this have been exaggerated a tad bit, but hey, what I said is as true as hell.

grats on your first concert... they are indeed awesome! just don't go to too many and stand next to the speakers or you'll get tinnitus like i did.

A girl living in my dorm managed to remove any love I would've had for Incubus, which didn't seem like much anyway.
