Just testing my "map" (well room lol) and got the above error? My character just keeps falling and i see the room zoom off into the distance...Not sure whats wrong, Its only a simple room and no visible leaks etc? Any ideas please. You guys kindly solved my last problem so Im back again. Thanks all.

Personally never encountered that one. Able to send me a copy (vmf) so I can have a look?

Sounds like you're spawning outside of the room. Make sure your spawn point is above the ground and not connecting.

If it's not that there could be some random code in TF2 that re-spots you if you are too close to a wall or a model to stop you spawning inside. The solution to this would be to move the spawn point away from the walls and the models, but that's a pretty farfetched hypothesis.

yeah move your spawn point, it sounds like you're falling into the void... which would imply that your spawn point is improperly placed, or the floor isn't clipping for some reason.

okay, thanks guys. It is a small room, ill give it a go.

EDIT: Okay, Just found something, When I insert an info_playerstart the error occurs but with an info_player_teamspawn it doesnt, They were placed in the same place in the map. Was I wrong to add the playerstart in the first place? Should it be a teamspawn for TF2? I assume the playerstart is for single player games such a HL2:Ep1 etc and teamspawns are specific to TF2? Is that correct?

Correct. In the 'Check for Map Problems' it will always tell you to add a playerstart but it's not needed for multiplayer games or multiplayer mods. You were probably spawning at the origin of the map or something because you didn't have a valid spawn.
